Updated April, 2026 !
Greetings from Northern Virginia, * the data center capital of the world *Stucco replaced on 2 chimneys
Marshall, Virginia
Dramatic video--Stucco by the competition was falling off:
These chimneys were built in the 1920's or 30's. The stucco was re-done maybe in the 1970's. The new stucco didn't bond and was popping off in sheets.
The old blocks are badly deteriorated. Click below to find out why.

Chimney crowns are covered with our signature rubber membrane and metal lath. These will never leak, it is impossible.

Historic stucco replaced
Winchester, Virginia
100 year old plus stucco was failing.
Decorative horizontal band was falling apart. Bands were used for different reasons. Horizontal bands make the wall look longer. Sometimes, a band was used to hide different thicknesses of the wall. In this case, both reasons.
s
Finish coat is white portland, lime and white sand. The stucco will be left unpainted.
No styrofoam here. The band is solid cement mortar, like original.
New flashing is put on. The sides of the window are sealed with protecto wrap. No way this window will leak.
We put on tar paper and self-furring metal lath.
We filled in the wall with an honest 3/4" of mortar. Here the wall is rodded off with a 6 foot rod.
