| We found an area of the old house that had
never been painted to determine how they made the old pattern in 1930. It's hard to tell after ump-teen layers of paint and whitewash. |
The brown coat is rubbed with a rubber float
to pull the sand up. I used a concrete sand
that was real coarse and teenie rocks in it. It matched the old stucco exactly. |

| After the mortar sets, wall is washed down
by dashing water on the wall. This washes off the cement and exposes the aggregate. |
Finished dormer just like 1930. |
