| This is one of my favorites. We completely stripped and
re-did this
circa 1836 house in Goochland County, Virginia which is now the
administration
building for Elk
Hill

Finish coat is scored to look like limestone
blocks, like
the original. The original stucco was lime made from limestone, and
river
sand, from the nearby James River. I was able to find some James River
sand in Charlottesville. I would feel foolish wading in the river with
